This is the first test batch for a Cosmic Collaboration this summer. Goses are known for a lactic tartness with the use of coriander and salt. This beer is very dry and drinkable. We added Pineapple for summer drinkability.

Crowler served in a wineglass/tulip thing. Filled at Special Brews a couple days ago.

Pours a mostly clear light yellow with a fairly small head that fades to no head at all after a little while. Very small amount of active carbonation. Smell is mildly tart, slightly grainy, overall pretty mild.

Taste is also pretty mild. Salt is pretty subtle, pineapple comes across mostly as a general juicy/fruitiness, I think it reminds me a bit of citrus. Maybe a bit of a lemon rind bitterness.

Mouthfeel is light. Overall, it's not a fantastic beer, but it's easy to drink and would be great on a hot, sunny day.

Can from TJs.

A clear yellow with a dense off-white head with good retention and little lacing this looks solid. The nose is quite good, with a blend of wheat, soft lactic tartness, some coriander and an undercurrent of pineapple. The palate opens tasting mostly like a regular gose with a little pineapple fruity flavor. A blend of grain and firm lactic acidity, and a little salt. Coriander and pineapple are tastefully balanced. Soft lingering acidity on the finish. Solid stuff!

Had on tap. Cloudy bright yellow body with a white cap. Huge tart pineapple leads the nose with sour lemon curd and light yeast supporting. Taste is much the same, pineapple is more juicy, yeast fades to give way to salt and coriander on the finish. Feel is tart, somewhat acidic before it dries out by the finish, and very bright in a refreshing way. Great for summer cookouts
