A Belgian Wit, Beijing-style. Pours hazy yellow with plenty of fluffy white head and bright aromas of mandarin orange and coriander seed. On the palate, the mild sweetness of the light grains blend with notes of earthy spice and fresh citrus, ending with a zesty dry finish.

Poured from the tap at Hitayashi Izakaya at Changi Airport in October 2023.
L: Pale, dull yellow with a frothy bright white head. No carbonation.
S: Light citrus. Mild mandarin.
T: Sweet mandarin and citrus, but also watered down like flavoured water you can buy in supermarkets.
M: Smooth, almost sherbety. Mildly carbonated. Finishes thin, per the watered-down comment above.
O: That watered-down sensation detracts from what would otherwise be considered a subtle, smooth wheat beer.
Cheers!
