Pours a cloudy golden color. Effervescent. Minimal white head dissipates far too quickly leaving a barely visible ring of white foam along the outside of the beer.
Smell is surprisingly and remarkably skunky - like an AAL skunk aroma. Odd for a pale wheat ale. Not much citrus on the nose but some grassy hops come through. Maybe a touch of lemongrass. Bit of straw.
Taste has notes of orange, grass, lemongrass, grain, wheat, with a very bitter herbal finish.
Feel is very carbonated - prickly on the tongue and messing with the flavors. Very light, bitter dry finish on the back end and finish.
Overall, this is just an odd example of a pale wheat ale - and its not a very good beer on its own merits.

on tap in a pint glass. The look: completely clear and pale straw colored with a quarter inch white head with good retention and very decent lacing. The smell: light and mellow soft wheat malts, fruity esters and spicy American hops. The feel: great drinkability here. medium/light body, crisp carbonation, subtle astringency and texture reminiscent of a cream ale. The Taste: super balance of the biscuity wheat and pale barley malts with fruity US hops and an assertive bitterness. The Finish: the finish is dry but the bitterness stays around for the long haul Overall: great example of a beer brewed for its surroundings.

Draft at hotel bar in Melbourne FL, pretty awesome IPAish beer. Cloudy and unappealing look but a great taste. That is what counts! Recommended

Coppertail Brewing - the "other" Tampa, FL brewer. I was not necessarily the best wheat I have had...
A beautiful colored brew, light amber with tinges of orange and yellow, a white head with little staying power and no lacing to mention. The scent was all citrus and mixed well with the hops. But that's all I can say that I like. The mouthfeel was so overpoweringly carbonated it just turned me off immediately. Though it did reduce over time, it wasn't enough to simply ignore. The taste was mostly hoppy, not as crisp as a wheat. Though not a brew I will reach for in the future, I suspect this will be liked by others and recognize it is a decent offering.

Pours a hazy light yellow golden color with white head. Cereal grains, raw wheat, some light grass, and a sweetness on the nose; follows onto the palate. Light bodied. Finishes with wheat.
