I tried this on tap recently at Federal Taphouse served in a tulip.
The color is resplendent golden with a slight haze and white head. The smell is faintly musty with phenolic aroma and slight herbal odor. The feel is highly carbonated with spicey yeast texture and extremely dry almsot medicinal finish.
The taste is decent with a slight yeast flavor of dried fruit and gentle hops with a more herbal flavor than anything but earthy and dry with some gentle medicinal yeast phenolics in the taste as it finishes on the dry side with a semi-bitter flavor lingering. Overall this is not what I would call my first pick of saison but it was drinkable I prefer less phenols in the yeast but nice dry quality practically no sweetness in the mix.
