Thanks to Roguer for this one, from a recent LIF box. 16oz can (date is badly smudged, thus unreadable) poured into 14oz teku. Poured a fully turbid and murky medium-dark orange color with 3/4 inch of of white head that had decent retention and very light lacing.

Aroma was all frooty hops, no malt or grain, with a slight bit of alcohol.

Started out similar on the tongue, but about half-way through each sip the alcohol came on strong and dominated. Kinda like when you make a screwdriver with cheap vodka and too little orange juice.

The body was typical for the style, but the strong alcohol burn made for tough sledding.

Drinkability was difficult, again, due to the harsh alcohol factor.

Overall, not enjoyable. Cannot recommend.

Dated 8/19/20 on the bottom of the can, very smudged. 5.5 weeks since canning.

Pours an extremely hazy, nearly opaque dirty gold with a finger + half of creamy off-white head. Nose of mango, slight bubblegum, overripened papaya, slight honey, Portuguese sweet bread, mildly dank herbaceousness and some generic sweet tropical notes. Taste is more melded together and muted than the nose with additional notes of hop matter, orange rind and every so slight lemon. Medium tropical sweetness, low+ bitterness and low- drying. Medium smooth body, but I was expecting a little more creaminess from a 10% brew. I don't know if the almost 6 weeks of age made this one more muted on the palette or thats just how it is. A nice NEIPA with a little bit of hop character from the state of Florida! ^-^

Poured a golden-range body with minimal head but some good lace patches down the glass. The aroma is slightly boozy with notes of tropical fruits and some acidic hops. Smooth, easy to drink, medium body, the ABV is rather well-hidden for how high it is, a tropical fruit sweetness with minimal hop bitterness underneath the tropical fruit flavors and overall this beer is enjoyable.

Very hazy, nearly opaque in thick portions of the glass. Very nice head production, retention, and lacing. Color is fairly classic, mango flesh in the middle, lemon on the edges where the light shines through. No visible floaties.

Strong hoppy nose, with plenty of alcohol presence. Moderate to slightly strong dankness. Emphasis is on tropical tones, in particular mango and papaya, along with honey, candied orange, and bright herbs.

Flavor plays along with the nose, with strong tropical fruit up front, turning into a thin fruit smoothie, before some pungent dankness on the second half. Grassy, herbal finish, almost like an old school IPA bitter citrus peel finish - but minus the bitterness.

No suggestion from the mouthfeel that this is much over 8%, much less the 10% beast it is. Minimal alcohol presence, creamy but smooth and lively full body.

Really good!
