Adding a bit of haze to our core lineup. This Hazy IPA features Sabro, BRU-1, and Talus hops with oats and pilsner malts, fermented with our house hazy yeast. Pouring a hazy yellow with thick active white head and boasting citrus, tropical fruit, and stone fruit notes followed by a crisp malt backbone to bring it all together. 6.5% ABV.

Pours a hazy juicy yellow color with a medium white head on top. Smell is of straight up hops. Hop taste along with light malt and a hint of tropical fruit.

12 oz. can, 6.5% ABV, Canned on: 07/18/22
AROMA: Slightly sweet with a touch of sourness. Scents of mango and pineapple are predominantly what I get. However, there is a faint scent of coconut too.
APPEARANCE: Pours a hazy copper-orange with a very tall, white head that dissipates slowly and has moderate lacing.
TASTE: Smooth, soft, and sweet, with flavors of pineapple, pine, and a touch of coconut in the finish. The flavors are soft, and slightly muddled, with no real distinction between them. While I find the overall flavor to be quite pleasant, I would prefer it if things were a bit more distinct.
MOUTHFEEL: Full-bodied with a very soft and smooth texture. Carbonation is slightly above average. I have to say that I don't think I've ever experienced a beer that felt so soft on the palate. I would even go so far as to say that it is "pillowy" soft. Which I find to be a little disorienting, but I also kinda like it. Go figure.
OVERALL: I am somewhat perplexed by this beer, in that, I can't seem to make up my mind whether I like it or not. On the one hand it is sweet with tropical fruit flavors and a very nice mouthfeel. On the other hand, the flavors are muddled together and they seem almost too soft. In fact, it reminds me of one of those tropical fruit juice blends that only has the low-acidic fruits in them (e.g. banana, mango, passion fruit, etc.), and then a low-IBU IPA was added to it. Of course, that's not necessarily a bad thing. Which is why I'm having a hard time deciding if I like it or not. One thing is for sure, I don't hate it. I'm just not sure if I would buy it again. Well, I have 5 more cans waiting in the fridge. Hopefully, I'll come to a conclusion before I finish the last one.

I am a big fan of the New England style and this is a great representation of it. More fruit forward, not a lot of bitterness on the finish, this is an easy drinking beer. Coppertail typically delivers on quality - their reputation remains strong with me.

Pours a deep darker orange color with smaller thumb sized off white head that leaves well
Aroma is tropical fruits, light citrus, pineapple, mango soft and sweet smelling.
Taste follows the nose nice fruitiness, more citrus then tropical maybe the hop bite is tilting it that way. Citrus bitterness work herbal hints.
Mouthfeel is lighter side of medium, maybe for the carbonation being on the peppier side.
Overall a pretty good hazy that I wouldn't mind having again.

April 10, 2022 first time I saw this in the grocery store, I bought a six. Coppertail didn't disappoint. This is a flavorful IPA with almost no bitterness. Mild and flavorful. My first impression is that I like it. Who knows, it could become a favorite. I see that I apparently am the second rating of this beer. It must be brand new?
So, later this same evening, I opened a second can, to see if my first impression holds up. Hmm. I like hazy IPAs and there are a lot out there that are just so so, but there are some good ones, This one is less sharp but has plenty of carbonation. Yes indeed, this IPA would appeal to folks who eschew the bitterness of some IPAs and it appeals to me, one who likes sharp IPAs, as well as hazy ones. After my second Cloud Dweller I'm still intrigued, We'll see.
5/25/22 - the final beer of the six. the feel is good. tingly on the tongue. I raised the Feel score a quarter point.
