Poured on-tap at the brewery and served in a shaker pint, the beer is a pale, muddled, light brown coloring with a thin halo of white head. Nose of nut sweetness and bitter, peppery hops. Flavors are roasted and nut sweet forward, with a spicy hops undertone. Light and balanced. The aftertaste is nutty sweet, with a light, clean finish. Tasty brew, with a good balance of hops and sweet characteristics.

Pours into an imperial nonic a light to medium brown with a copper tinge,a thinner wispy slightly off white head atop.Aromas of caramel and roasted nuts, light pine hops are detected.Light carbonation with a lighter feel to it as well.Nutty with caramel malts on the palate with a earthy, grassy herbal hoppiness in the finish along with faint pine. Not bad,it's not a hop bomb by any means,I have had hoppier browns but it's not a bad beer.
