Poured into a standard pint a deep dark chocolate brown with a thinner beige head atop.Dry earthy chili's stood out most in the nose with underlying chocolate, quite dry and earthy in the nose.A big shot of bitter chocolate hit's up front on the palate with the sharp earthy spiced chili's coming in late, there is a caramel sweetness underneath thru out.The spice is predominant in the is beer as you drink more, quite dry on the palate.

Unfortunately the glass was frosted so I didn’t get much head. Dark body. Nice malty aroma. Hint of spice with a nice malty chocolate flavor. Solid.

Poured on-tap at the brewery and served in a shaker pint, the beer is a dark brown coloring, with a halo of fluffy, off-white head. Nose of chocolate, with a pepper spice and heat creeping in around the edges. Flavors are milk chocolate forward, with a slowly creeping, building pepper heat. Smooth, light body, with a tangy chocolate sweetness and pepper spiced building heat. Smooth, light finish. The pepper characteristics build, and don't burp. Wow! Solid beer!
