A: This poured a clear dark mahogany with rocky light tan head.
S: It smelled like roasted barley and earthy coffee, with some honey wheat bread and cocoa powder.
T: It tasted like cherry and raspberry, with some roasted barley and earthy coffee and dark chocolate. It had a clean bittersweet aftertaste.
M: It was thick with a little carbonation. Great big body.
D: This was a nice porter with good fruit character, but not the most delicious scent. The taste was better, and the body was excellent. The finish was smooth with well hidden alcohol, so it was easy to drink. Might age well for a few years, but not long term. Fresh was nice to try once.

Look - deep dark ruby with a khaki head that has decent retention and spotty lacing.
Smell - blackberry/dark fruit notes are most prominent along with vanilla, brown sugar, and roasted malts.
Taste - a strong tart note from the blackberries hits the hardest and mostly dominates the flavor profile, but there are some milder notes of vanilla and brown sugar lingering in the background.
Feel - high carbonation, slightly chewy body, and incredibly smooth.
This wasn't very balanced. I know this variation was brewed with blackberries, but I was hoping for stronger porter characteristics to form the base of this beer.
