Aromatic with notes of stone fruit and tangerine. Well balanced on the palate with a restrained bitterness that lingers in the finish. You'll get hints of pine and citrus with a light honey sweetness.

Poured from a 16-oz can into pint glass in April 2022. There is a number "21347 09:57:45" stamped on the label. I bought this at the brewpub and drank this about 1 week after purchase.
Appearance: Deep gold color with huge white head like other IPAs. It is a bright and has a very hazy complexion, which I could not see through. Head is very thick, and it lasts a minute time, leaving a small covering. There is a medium amount of lacing on the glass.
Smell: The aroma filled the room while the beer was being poured. Strong aroma of citrus, pine, and hops, as well as some sweetness like pineapple. Overall, the citrus aroma dominates the other aromas.
Taste: Sweet taste with a moderate bitter hops edge. There is also a typical hops and citrus flavor, but with some sweetness as well. This is balanced, not too bitter like most other American IPAs, and it is very well-balanced. Has a very nice after-taste that lasts a moderate time. Overall a nice balance and very drinkable.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied, which makes this very drinkable. Medium-low alcohol, which matches the 8.0% listed.
This is a good and interesting IPA. It has a nice mix of citrus, grapefruit, hops, malt, and other flavors, which makes it enjoyable. I like the overall balance, and that the citrus flavors are pronounced but do not dominate the flavor. It has a moderate amount of hop bitterness, so is easier to drink than some other strong IPAs. I would buy this again.

16 ounce can poured into a nonic style pint glass.
Orange and hazy. Large off-white head with good retention that leaves thin sheets of lace. Nose is piney and tropical. Taste is piney and citrussy, grapefruit pith and peel, with a full semi-sweet malt backbone. Finish/aftertaste really comes through as grapefruit. Medium weight with high-ish carbonation.
Nice double, though less hoppy than expected.
I noticed other reviews had differing ABV percentages, My cans were marked 8%.

Pours a hazy orangish/ pale amber color with a short lived white head. Tropical fruit on the nose especially tangerine and pine. The taste follows the nose with a bitterness of tangerine peel which is a little more than usual for a NE IPA...but still very solid brew!

Very smooth for a double IPA. Very hoppy but not obscene as some DIPAs are. It feels like a strong IPA at ~6.5%.
Color is like hay. Smell and taste are about identical.

I purchased this because I like to try, for me, local beers and Sterling VA is a town I bicycle through often.
Can lists ABV as 7.7%, not the 8% noted above
Pours a hazy yellow with a thick head that lasts and a little lasing
Smells a little weak for a double IPA.
Taste is citrisy with a little maltiness that I did not expect from this style. Not overly hoppy for a double IPA
Good mouth feel with the right amount of carbination
Overall not a bad beer but there are better in this category
