Draft at Courtyard. Poured a clear, golden yellow color with a small, off-white head of foam. It left sudsy lace. It smelled of bready malt, cereal, toffee and floral notes. Sweet caramel and toffee taste with a mild bitterness.

Nice pale orange color, just a bit of haze. Not much head and retention was nil.
This is malt forward but not in a typical English two row way. Kind of a corn flavor. Don’t think it’s DMS but it’s borderline offputting. Does not have the typical bready flavors I want from an English ale. I don’t get much earthy yeast profile either.
Overall a pretty weird ESB... reminds me a beer made from grits I’ve had from a GA brewery. I don’t hate it, just wish it were labeled something else - not very “English.”

On draft at brewery.
Pale hazy yellow colored, white head. Good head retention. Earthy hop aroma. Mild bready malts in the taste, mildly bitter. Medium bodied.
