Poured a hazy copper hue with a one finger foamy whit head. There was good retention and lacing.
The smell featured an earthy caramel and a piney hop.
The taste offered earthy malts, rye and a spicy piney hop, which lingered through the swallow.
The mouthfeel was toward the fuller side of the style with a touch of heat detected.
Overall a satisfying and appropriately spicy rye beer.
