On tap at L&M Lanes in Rochester, NY.
Pours a dark black, with a half inch head, and not a whole lot of lacing.
Smells like chocolate, dark fruits, roasted malt, and some espresso.
The taste is similar. The yeast and malt character give this beer much more of a dark fruity vibe than usual, one of the more unique porters I've had. Some nutty chocolate flavors, a bit of sweetness, and a good amount of roasted malt.
Medium bodied, smooth, creamy, dynamite mouthfeel. Low carbonation. Very drinkable.
Yet another winner from Abandon, they're slowly becoming one of the better breweries in Finger Lakes region and beyond.

Growler poured into a tulip. Last of the keg, free half growler.
A: Pours a dark brown appearing black in the glass with a mild slightly tanned head.
S: Real nice roasty character on this one. A blend of chocolate, roastiness and coffee dominate the aroma
T: Pretty tasty brew, starts off with a mild roasted malt flavor with a good earthy quality. That transforms into a grain like fruitiness. I really like the farmhouse vibe this porter has. Reminds me of a black saison.
M: Medium body with low carbonation, but that could be the end of the keg taking effect. Has a clean finish that keeps it very drinkable considering the ABV.
Overall this is a winner. Grabbed some fresh at the brewery and was glad to be able to get the last of the keg at the local store. Real nice grain and yeast flavors that are unique for the porter style.
