Big and bold! This rich blend of dark malts is smooth and silky on the palate with a hint of rye whiskey barrel making it very intriguing.

A: The beer is jet black in color and pours out of the bottle with the consistency of motor oil. It poured with just narrow off white collar and a few bubbles around the edge of the glass.
S: Light aromas of whiskey from the barrel aging are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell, starting off with some hints of dark malts and finishing with slightly stronger notes of rye whiskey that linger into the finish.
M: It feels a bit more than medium-bodied and slightly thin with a low to moderate amount of carbonation. There is some warming from the whiskey.
O: This beer feels a bit thin on the palate compared to other beers in the style and seems a little one-dimensional as it only really offers whiskey flavors, but it does a remarkable job at hiding any traces of alcohol (except for the whiskey) from the taste.
