On cask at The Old Toad for their cask festival. Had two pours of this, this review will be for the second better pour.

This is a brown ale brewed with maple, aged in Caribbean rum barrels, then primed with more maple syrup in the cask.

Pours a murky, muddy brown, with a small film-like head, and no lacing.

Smells like maple syrup, toasted malts, with some slight rum. This one is simple, but ultimately tastes very good. The maple came through much stronger on the second pour of this about an hour later, shows the ever-changing nature of cask beer.

Slightly thin body and mouthfeel, but it is just a brown ale. Very drinkable, though.

Abandon brings it again. They are putting out some cool stuff.
