Sampled at a tasters choice get together on 11/19/2023. A big thanks to whomever shared this. This was a standout in how bad this beer was, drain pour and then some.

This one has some less than stellar ratings on here, but no reviews yet. This one definitely sounds weird, but I figured it was worth giving a shot anyways
Pours a clearish dark brown with no head whatsoever, meaning there’s no lacing
The aroma is very strange here, but not all that bad. I get notes of chipotle, peppercorns, bretty funk, and sweet malt
The flavor derails quite a bit from the somewhat decent aroma. It starts off alright with notes of tart lemon and a light peppery spice. The swallow amps up both the tartness and the spice, to a nearly unbearable level, bringing notes of lime, chili peppers, cinnamon, and a touch of chocolate. Honestly quite disgusting due to the aftertaste
A medium body pairs with aggressive carbonation which allows this to go down easy, but only initially. Despite the heat, this still finishes sticky
What in the actual fuck was this? I don’t even what they were going for here, nothing works and it’s totally out of balance. I’m sorry to say this is one of my rare drain pours, no way I can finish this
