500ml caged and corked bottled served in my CL tulip. Pours a lovely, dull golden orange hue with a loose, half inch, bright white head that sizzles and pops as it slowly disperses into a rocky forth with thick, textured swaths of lacing revealed during the tasting. Copious tiny bubbles are present effervescing in-solution cascading from the base of the glass to the underside of the cap. Very nice nose on this beer - hints of the wine barrel and light stone fruits. There's also bright citrus zest notes. Taste follows nose; however, there's also a bit of the bacterial culture present in the flavor profile. I don't get much of the Brett funk. More of a kettle sour lactic acid. Raspberries are detectable at the very finish. Unfortunately, I also get the merest hint of sanitizer or dish soap. Mouthfeel is light in body with a bright carbonation and a mild, pleasant astringency. Overall, a really nice beer. Good complexity and quite drinkable without being overly tart and funky.
