Dark brown/black appearance, decent head, good retention, blotchy lacing. Chocolate, nutty, faint vanilla, faint hops. Moderate mouthfeel, bitter finish.

Poured from the 16 fl oz can dated 30 Sep 19. Sampled on Nov 30, 2019.
It looks like a Porter should with its near jet black appearance and foamy, lasting tan head.
There is a roasted chocolate malt sensation on the nose along with a grainy character, maybe some ash, and perhaps a slight floral hop character.
Smooth medium body.
The taste is sweet and roasty and the hop bitterness makes it feel a little boozy although it is not boozy. A nice Porter.

On draft in a shaker pint glass.
Black in color, off white colored head. Pleasant chocolately and coffee aromas. Good balance, not too sweet nor dry. Medium bodied. Solid porter.
