Toasted Coconut Almond Stout

Poured into a nonic pint glass, the appearance was a pure black color with a thin eggshell white foamy finger’s worth of head. Slow dissipation. Sly messy lacing. The aroma centers around the roastiness with some coconut and then some almond underneath. The flavor leans roasty initially and then develops into a sly balance between the sweet coconut and the roasted almond and cocoa beans. Subtle blended aftertaste between the coconut and roast. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a nice sessionability about it. Smooth carbonation. Overall, good stout that comes across what I think Brewster River wants. Me, I could have again.
