Canned release called "Sailing the 7Cs" and was canned on 11/3/22. Pours a beautiful amber gold hue with a frothy head into my glass. Sweet and doughy malt upfront with a touch of hop bitterness. Clean, crisp, sweet and hoppy all rolled into one. Mouthfeel is nice and balanced and the finish is clean. I have been to this brewpub in the past but never sampled their own beers. I love it!

Poured into a pint glass at the brewpub, the appearance was a ruddy burnt orange color with a slight transparency about it. Carbonation seems to rise at a decent pace. Small white head. No lace. The aroma starts off with some dried almost burnt grassy bitterness. Citrus rind is there for the happiness but that seems light and almost there. The flavor tries to bring all of the previously mentioned aromas together but also shows a separate sort of sweet to bitter. Aftertaste and finish seem the same as well, very unstable between what the flavors are trying to do. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a decent sessionable smooth feel about it. Low carbonation seems good. Overall, this was an ok APA, but I could definitely see a ton of tweaks to this to get it where it needs to be in Vermont.
