On tap at the brewery's gastropub in Burlington.
Appearance. Clear dark brown body with high clarity and a fine beige head.
This has a typical mild, malt forward flavor but the aroma is relatively bold.

Reviewed from notes. The appearance was a murky brown color with a film of a little white foamy head that fell off at a decent pace. The aroma had some toast, white bread with a little bit of burnt, slight ash/somewhat like smoke. The flavor had some sweetness with a mild toasty sort of aftertaste and finish. The palate was almost medium bodied with a fair sessionability about it. Carbonation felt fine. ABV felt appropriate. Overall, pretty decent brown ale, but left me wondering if it’s American or English, not sure, just drink up if it’s your style.

On tap at the brewery. Served in a taster. Brown body. Transparent with a small head. Smells toasty and bready. Taste is heavily roasted for a mild. Toasty, roasty, and almost burnt and smoky. Light sweetness. Earthy bitter finish. Medium light body. Probably my favorite of the beers I tried while there, although it isn’t my style or even a very exciting style.

A very pleasant surprise. Surpasses expectations, makes me want another after it's gone. Very very good.
