The appearance was a semi-hazy/transparent burnt orange color with a glossy to filmy white foamy head that dissipated at a nice pace. Light lacing. The smell started off with a nice sour/sweet contour of the "Brett" tartness flowing into vinous and stringy lemon/citrus hops. The flavor takes the previously mentioned flavors to ride right on into a sly sweet maltinesss all about it. On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with a nice sour to sweet semi-harshness sticking but sliding on my tongue. Overall, good American Wild ale for the most part.

The beer comes in an opaque orange color, medium gold.
The aroma is quite juicy, a bit of bready yeast, hint of earthiness that grows with temperature.
The flavor hits of light juicy New England style DIPA with tropical and candied citrus and the Brett mostly hits with drying. A bit of breadiness in the middle with a wonderful soft mouthfeel. As it warms, the Brett shows itself a touch more.

2016 bottle into a snifter glass, no bottling date but picked up 2 weeks ago. Pours hazy orange with a great white head that retains, nice gobs of lacing.
Smell is Brett, pineapple and funk, bit of citrus, mostly grapefruit, some dank resin. Taste is a blast of sweetness first, then the fruit and grapefruit hops dominate, good Brett note near the end with pineapple flavors, touch of bitterness and a decent finish. Medium bodied in the stomach but still easy to drink.
Good beer, was hoping for more Brett or more hops but still satisfied. Like all Burlington Beer Co beers, a solid attempt but always lacking a notch or two away from greatness.

Served on tap at the brewery.
Deep hazy light honey color with two fingers of bubbly head.
Aromas are primarily sticky hops with some yeast in there as well.
Flavor is not very brett like, hops dominate. Great hop characteristics here. Sticky, dank.
Mouthfeel was really nice. No issue.
Overall, delicious beer...would welcome more brett qualities in next batch.

Nice big fluffy white head! Nose of citrus: think Ruby Red Grapefruit and orange peel. Brett? Not much when cold. Taste mirrors nose quite nicely. Wonderful mouthfeel. Overall I will grab a couple more of these for sure! I honestly don't know where the Brett is!?!?! Maybe it was stolen, hence the name? ;)
