The appearance was a fluffy burnt orange to brown color with a quickly dissipating head. No lacing. The aroma embraces the normal Tripel qualities of: Belgian spice and sugars, bready sweet yeastiness, and then some subtle sweet blueberries for balance. The flavor yields to the Belgian sweet yeasty side. Blueberries seem to fade in the background nicely. Slightly a rugged yeasty aftertaste with a smooth sweet finish. On the palate, this one sat about a medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Carbonation feels good. Gets somewhat sticky in the feel. Overall, another nice beer by Burlington. These guys seem to be just getting better every day.

Poured a bit purple/pink with a large off white head that lasted quite a while. The smell was quite heavy on blueberry and then candi a touch of clove and pepper. Taste was awfully sweet and the blueberry overpowered what were expected to be the flavors of a tripel. I could barely get any of the spices that are usually present in a tripel. Feel was lighter with prickly carbonation. I think this could have worked better as fruit beer and had it not tried to step into the world of tripels. The sweet blueberry was just too much and smothered the rest of the flavors.

Bottle shared by Nick, thanks dude.
This one pours a moderately dark reddish-blue, with a small head, and a hint of lacing.
Smells quite strongly of musty blueberries, with some clove, and a little bit of plasticky thing.
The blueberry character here is nice, and not too strongly sweet or sour in any direction. The base tripel is essentially buried- I do get some minor clove character. As the beer warms, a sort of plasticky taste comes out- and it's not really all that pleasant.
This one has a moderately big body to it, with a good level of carbonation. The mouthfeel is a little slick.
This didn't quite work for me, due to the off flavors. It was a good idea, though.
