This was poured into a tulip. The appearance was a hazy burnt orange color with a one finger white foamy head that quickly dissipated. Remnants of some stringy lacing run along the sides of the glass. The smell had some grapes, pears, grapefruit, light sweet apples, light grass, light earthiness with somewhat rustic mustiness to it. The taste seems to be a bit off as it comes off pretty dry and seems to not have as much of the grapefruit, pears and apples. Not exactly sure where they went, but the rest of the aroma appears and gives off a quick dry sweet and semi-vinous aftertaste. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with dry sipping quality about it. Carbonation runs fairly light allowing a dry sharp edge hitting my tongue. Overall, as a Belgian styled golden ale, well, it looks like one and smells like one but the flavor and the feel seem to not come together to create the beer I think Burlington was trying for.

Bottle shared by Mark the other day, thanks man.
This one pours very bubbly, and clear golden, with a large one inch head, and just a bit of lacing.
This one smells very grapey, and a little perfumey, with some champagne aromas. There's also a bit of mustiness on the nose that I don't love.
This is an interesting beer, with some flaws. The grape character is super heavy here, but there's also a musty, stale, and even sort of "sweaty" yeast character here that is hard to get by. There's some candy sugar-like sweetness too, with some pear and apple flavor as well. It smells kind of like weird champagne. It was definitely still enjoyable, but something seemed a little bit off, like some slightly unintended fermentation occurred.
This is medium bodied, with a slightly slick and syrupy mouthfeel, and a normal level of carbonation.
There's definitely some off flavors, but there's a good beer somewhere in here.
