If there was more of this available, this would be my beer of the summer for sure. Had both on draft (at the brewery) and from the can and it's truly a home run. Hazy, intense fruity smell, so refreshing for that high ABV. I'm fighting to save the last few cans but it's just so hard to resist! This could pass for a Trillium beer in a blind taste.

Poured from the can.
Pours a nice medium sunny amber color, very hazy with two fingers of head.
Aromas are dank and deep tropical fruit. Mango, some pineapple. Sticky.
Flavors are right in line with aromas, juicy with really nice bitterness on the finish.
Mouthfeel was excellent nice zing on my tongue.
Overall, maybe the best beer 've had from BBC. This is a home run.

One of the best smelling IPA's I've had with intense tropical flavors. The fruit scent was so strong that I feared it was going to be a fruit bomb like Sip of Sunshine. The taste was drier than the smell though, along with a sticky resiny texture. Nicely balanced, sweet, bitter, well carbonated, and hazy (as all quality IPA's are). The bitter hop taste stays in the back of your throat long after you finish.
I knew this brewery was starting to hit its stride, but I was surprised that they came up with something as great as this. Nice job.

Turbid yellow/orange with a foamy white head that leaves spotty lacing in a HF taster glass.
Up front blast of pineapple and a prominent spicy herbal note.
Very close to what the aroma implies: strong notes of tropical fruit (I get loads of fresh pineapple) and an equally spicy herbal note in the mix. Lingering bitter and spicy aftertaste.
Nicely carbonated for the style, light to medium, and a touch resinous.
Nicely crafted IIPA, typical to the current Northeast style. Overall nice effort with some of the newer, more experimental hops.

Brewed with Australian Summer, Topaz and Equinox hops to celebrate their 2nd anniversary.
Pours a cloudy blondish-amber hue with a nice frothy head into my glass.
Aroma is in your face the moment you pour it with a strong mango and/or guava essence upfront. Similar to a mimosa.
Mango, guava and light grapefruit flavors explode on the tongue followed by a biscuity crackle.
Finishes fairly bitter with a strong alcohol burn.
They couldn't have picked a better way to celebrate their 2nd anniversary than with this excellent double ipa! They sold out quickly this afternoon and plan to release 40 cases tomorrow at noon (5/28).
