Poured from can into snifter.
Color is very nice light, inviting red with a nice pink head that dissapates fairly quickly..
Aroma is straight up buttered popcorn with a hint of berry. Aroma is slightly off putting, no hint of sour or tart to the nose.
Mouthfeel is nice, this would be a good thirst quenching summer beer from an icy cooler, very drinkable except for the taste.
Taste has some decent berry notes, but there is very little tart to this beer. More sweet than anything. Considerable diacetyl presence as well, which is a real bummer.
Glad to see BBC stepping up and trying a sour, but this is very disappointing and not sour by any means.
