Traded for this a while ago as this was the first beer that I've ever reviewed from Burlington. Dated 8/23/17 on the bottom of the can with "WTF STOP KILLING EACH OTHER!" written on top of it, the label for this was clear and the ABV matched the iteration that was previously released. Confusing as that was, the appearance of this was even more confusing. Yes, I let this sit too much before I got around to it but it poured so badly and didn't hold up anywhere nearly as good as other cans that I've been going through in my backlog...

Dank, murky, and turbid as could be, this had tons of cloudiness and floaties in it. Lots of head that saved this from being a complete letdown, and the lacing was quite soapy and full of thick rings as well. Loads of peach, white peach, fruit pith, and mild, Mosaic in the nose as the taste was full of those as well. Lots of fruit, some light wood, hop burn, and white wine in the taste as this was not quite what I expected. Couldn't finish this off because of the chunks in it as a mild slickness and recessed alcoholic presence kept this from being a true drain pour.

This seemed one-dimensional to me and was not as good as beers from other Vermont breweries that I've had over the years. Most of that is my fault but seeing the range of ratings on here, I got the impression that this needed to be fine-tuned a bit more. If you love peach, give this a go but if not, reach for some Alchemist or Hill Farmstead brews over this one...

L: Deep hazy orange. From a can, contained lots of peach residue. About 1 inch of light white foam that dissipated quickly.

S: Well, there's definitely (and obviously) peach/apricots in this one. Also some malt in conjunction with distinctive Mosaic hops to give it a bit of bitterness/hoppiness.

T: Defintely a rounded flavor - yeah there's some peaches in there, but I wouldn't say it is overwhelming. It is much more bitter than you'd expect, especially since the aroma prepares you for a mango/peach-dominated beer.

F: Medium carbonation - minimal bite. Actually, the mouthfeel pairs quite well with the relatively mellowness of this one.

O: With the awesome Fruit IPA series that BBCo has going on, this one is decidedly much more mild than I was expecting. But it is a very pleasant beer, with a fruit influence and a whole lot of residue/sediment in the pour. I wouldn't call it sweet, but it definitely isn't as punchy as you might think. If you like subtle, this might be up your alley.

Moderate pour yields a kinda off white head over super murky body akin to peach nectar. Small head is gone in a few minutes with scant lacing and comes back with a swirl or two. Wonderful aromas of peach, peach, and more peach. Taste of bitter peach and quite a letdown after such an exquisite nose. Feel is good and overall, glad I had the chance to try it. Cheers!

Similar to BBCo Wizard, but with a peach taste. I got this on can release day and the beer got better over time.

Can received in trade with Kevin. A tiny bit too much of a hop burn on the finish.
