16 ounce can in an Imperial pint glass.
Murky dirty yellow color is not pretty. The 1-plus F of white cap with great retention, and the sticky lacing make up for it.
A nice whiff of citrus soaked wheat right form the can opening. The aroma leans more towards a light hoppy pale ale.
Lemon citrus hop, wheat cracker, grapefruit juice and a touch of sugar.
Light and crisp, some juiciness. Lingering mild hop flavor and tang. No aftertaste.
Unique take on an ABA. Not overly "NE style", thankfully.

For a light 5% session NEIPA, this one is pretty decent.

Excited to get my hands on a few cans from BB. Reached for Shoegazer as I was in the mood for something other than an IPA. Although called an American Blonde, its heavily hopped and carried a wallop of acidic fruit.
Pours a muddled yellow gold out of the can; murky, hazy, etc. Aroma is green pine, lemongrass and pineapple. Tons of ripe fruit. Taste is pine needles, spruce, overripe papaya, pineapple juice. Too acidic for me. Assaults the palate. Can't find the malt. Would be right up a hop-junky's alley but missed the mark for me.

On tap at the source with Craig.
Lighter shade of murky than the other beers I tried here. Light bready malt some fruity hops and just a hint too much astringency for my tastes. The low light of my visit here.

On tap at Burlington Beer Co in Williston, VT.
This one pours a very hazy and murky golden yellow, with a small head, and lots of lacing. Doesn't look like a blonde ale, it just looks like a super hoppy slurry bomb.
This smells like grassiness, mimosa, and muddled juiciness.
This doesn't really work all that well. It's got that classic stale muddled feel I often get in poorly made NE-style IPAs. Even though this is a blonde ale, it's not at all recognizable as such- it's an pale ale in everything but name. It's brewed with spelt malt, apparently- you wouldn't know.
This is light bodied, insubstantial, and grainy, with normal level of carbonation.
This just does not work for me, really at all.

On tap at the brewery. This was poured into a becher pint glass, nice to see the glassware is starting to catch on. The appearance was a murky yellow color with a thin white foamy head that dissipates at a nice pace. Some ringed foamy lace runs around the glass. The aroma has fresh citrus/lemon rind to juice sweet to bitter, sticky pulp. And then as it warms, sly sweet wheat underneath. The flavor takes all of those previously mentioned aromas to blend nice and even across my tastebuds. Crisp balanced citrus to wheat aftertaste to quick semi-dry finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Low carbonation. Acceptable semi-sticky notes toying with my tongue. Overall, blonde ale or pale ale? Perhaps a cross between both and damn nice.
