16 ounce can in a pint glass.
Looks like a grapefruit juice slushy drink. Above the haze is a 1F white cap that endures and leaves light rings of lacing.
Grapefruit; rind, peel, juice.
Flavor follows, more grapefruit with a light malt back-up. Not tart.
Medium body, malty enough to call a beer, unlike other juice drinks. Long citrus grapefruit hop finish. Slightly bitter. Not sweet or boozed.
Nice grapefruit hop fix. One per session satisfies me.

This one may need to be revisited in a while.
This is an odd beer. I found it had some very common IPA aspects, but then there was this indescribable nose and flavor that was well, distracting. I have been trying to put my finger on what that was and the best I can come up with is microwave popcorn. I think this is not intended, or I'd hope.
I'm gonna try this again soon and see if it persists.

Can from Kevin. Needs a little more of a fruity sweetness.

Moderate pour from a 16 oz. can yields a white head over the obligatory hazy, murky yellow body; with sticky lacing. Nose of slight tropical fruit, citrus, and some other aspect of the hops akin to a bubble gum kind of aroma?!?!? Tastes of tropical fruit and finishing surprisingly bitter and dry. Somewhat strange feel with a very thin middle to end. Overall, an enigmatic offering from Williston, VT and I will be sharing the next one with another discerning palate and will edit...

On tap at the brewery.
The appearance was a pale milky yellow color with a half finger's worth of white foamy head that slid off at a mild pace. Some stringy lace slid into the glass.
The aroma had some sweet stinging grassy hop qualities up front, light dried pine, some onion and then some dried semi-sweet citrus pulp and rind.
The flavor fused the grassiness to the citrus and onion, fairly dry pulling sweetness with some astringency. Aftertaste was citrusy and grassy.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a fair sessionability about it. The dryness did come back to cling to my tongue a bit more than expected. Carbonation felt fine. ABV felt appropriate.
Overall, not sure, I'll have to check further, but I think this is my first time with Mistral hops, so I don't want to be too harsh on this one. I will say - it's quite different yet I'd still have again, probably because it's Burlington Beer Company and well, they're one of my favorite Vermont brewers.
