Pours golden with little head. No real lacing. Aroma grapefruit and butterscotch. Taste follows the nose with a nice guava middle with a light lemon finish.

I See the Vision - Burlington Beer Co
IPA with Pink Guava - 7% abv
Canned 9/27/17 (32 days ago)
L - 2 finger head recedes rapidly, leaving minimal lacing. Light-orange body is translucent and filled with bubbles.
S - tropical fruit, butterscotch.
T - butter, some cheese. Definitely some flaws here. I don't get much guava here at all. Mildly bitter.
F - low-medium body, higher than usual carb.
O - the flaws ruin this one for me. I really enjoy guava in a beer, but the butter taste (presumably too much diacetyl) make it hard to get into this beer.

Poured into a becher pint glass.
The appearance was a semi-hazy yellow paper color with a nice sturdy finger's worth of white foamy head that slid off at a mild pace. Lace was there, somewhat filmy yet messy.
The aroma had the pink guava sweetness up front with touches of some lemongrass, ruby red grapefruit, and ended with a gracious amount of mobile sweet leafy hops.
The flavor proceeded with the pink guava up front embracing the lemongrass and ruby red grapefruit notes nice and bittersweet. Gentle flow on into the aftertaste - mainly the pink guava but the ruby red grapefruit and lemongrass gliding in really nice.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a great sessionability about it. Carbonation felt great. ABV felt on par. Finish was semi-smooth with a sturdy bittersweet bite.
Overall, another really damn nice AIPA leaning towards the New England style very nice.

pours out much less hazy than their other offerings. this one is super easy drinking. big grapefruit and guava character, balanced by some bready malts and herbaceous notes. really nice fruited IPA!
