Poured from the can into a snifter.
Pours very dark brown with no light getting through. Dark khaki head of less than half an inch,
Aromas are tons of mint with some roast in back.
Flavors have a bit too strong levels of mint for my palate and c=good chocolate and roast supporting it.
Mouthfeel was really good as with most of the Intertia series.
Overall, lovely but a bit too much mint for me.

Can stamped 12/20/2017.
This was poured into a snifter.
The appearance was a mostly dark brown close to black color with a quickly dissipating little off white foamy head. Barely any lace.
The aroma held a fine blend of milk and dark chocolate to fresh spearminty character. Moderate coffee roastiness in the background.
The flavor blended the chocolate sweetness to the minty fresh sweetness, reminiscent of an Andes mint. Eloquent aftertaste of roast, mint, and milk chocolate and an even more subtle ebb and flow of dark chocolate here.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a fair sipping quality about it. Carbonation felt fine. ABV felt good. Nicely done finish of the mint and milk chocolate; seemed to kick out the dark chocolate bitterness to me.
Overall, as an imperial stout showcasing mint, milk chocolate and milk sugar, this is definitely one to seek out if this is something that you think would fancy your palate. Also, this isn't anything "toothpaste-like" just saying.
