Growlette from the brewery.
This was poured into an English pint glass.
The appearance was a nice looking dark black color with a two finger tan foamy head that slid off fairly quick leaving some spotty lace speckling the glass.
The aroma magically blended very well between the sweet coffee bean tones to a mild roast. Then the dark chocolate nibs slide in for warmth and balance.
The flavor mildly leans towards the sweet side and grabbed the dark chocolate nicely with a smooth sweet dryness. There's barely any aftertaste but what was there was mildly sweet with a little dark toast.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a fair sessionability about it. Carbonation felt fine. ABV felt on par. Semi-sticky in the finish with a mild cutting little bit of roast, showed some dryness.
Overall, pretty nice coffee forward porter well worthy of coming back to.
