Pours an opaque pale yellow gold color, looking very much like grapefruit juice. Head is very thin and fizzes down to a film.
The aroma out of the glass is intensely rich and tangy with overpowering citrus zest notes.
The taste starts off with a tart and sweet base that slowly reveals the orange and grapefruit flavors, finishing with a slightly floral twist as the tartness subsides. This is not a muddled flavor as others have suggested - The citrus notes are clearly present and interact well with the bitterness to give a zest effect. The pale malts stay
The feel is of course very soft and creamy, maybe oated?
This one looks, feels, and smells just like Reciprocal from Bissell Brothers (the flavor is slightly different, more sweet) - which is odd because Reciprocal uses a mix of Australian hops and this is straight Galaxy. BBCO has masterfully teased all goodness out for this beer. A masterpiece IMO, the ideal NEIPA and they execute it perfectly in my book. I feel it deserves a much higher score than it has at this point... maybe people in and around VT haven't come to appreciate this extreme take on the style as I do.

Signature BBCo looks and feel. Very nice beer for those lower ABV nights.
