From an undated 16 oz can sampled on April 23, 2022.
The appearance is a slightly cloudy but not hazy yellow with a frothy, lingering white head.
On the nose the immediate sensation to me is lemon or lime with a vague grainy backdrop.
Medium mouthfeel.
The taste is sweet along with that lemon zest but there is also a kind of ashy character. Mild bitter finish.

Had a can of this with no date on it. Either the beer was old or the beer was just bad. Tasted like a really old ipa. Malty and caramel. Supposed to be a dry hopped lager and this was tough to enjoy.

I picked this up honestly wanting to see if there are some lagers out there And I am really wanting to get away from my “only NEIPAS will do” mentality. This was a pleasant surprise. I was worried it was going to be more like a typical American lager (Pabst, Miller, etc) but it was very tasty and had a surprising complex palette. Had a lot of NEIPA notes to it but lighter. Had a nice golden haze to it, not opaque but pleasantly cloudy. Great aroma. Very glad I tried this. Could be a go to this summer. Another fine offering from BBC

Poured from a 16 oz can; no birth date. Pours golden yellow with a decent amount of foamy head that rapidly recedes. Hop forward bitterness that settles into a smooth malt backbone. Good.

Pours from the can a hazy, dark yellow, big fluffy 2" head that very slowly recedes leaving huge streaks of lacing. Nose is big juicy hops, topical fruit, light cracked wheat. Taste follows with sweet juicy fruits up front and only a mild amount of bittering hops. Mouthfeel light with soft yet crisp carbonation. As a lower ABV lager it packs in a lot of flavor, like a like NEIPA. Would prefer a bit more of a balanced flavor, as it runs heavy on the sweet juicy side, detracting (at least for me) from its sessionability. If I want a sweet juicy NEIPA I'd have one, right? Still, it's impressive for its ability pack all that flavor into a smaller package.

A NEIPL. A little chalky and high bitterness (due to the lack of malt and low ABV I'm guessing). Not a great summer drinker, but decent beer.
