Moderate pour yields a one inch tan head over a dark brown body with no lacing. Nose of much smoke, slight roasted malt, and slight chocolate. Very nice flavors of chocolate, roasted malt, and slight smoke. Nice feel and overall, a beer I would enjoy again. Cheers!

Poured into a becher pint glass.
The appearance was a dark brown close to black color with a small cap of tan foamy head that dissolved all of the way to not allow any lace. Odd, but I wasn't too worried.
The aroma had some dark chocolate, vanilla, cherry wood, dried raisin, and some milk chocolate. Light coffee but comes out with a fuller roast as it warmed.
The flavor was moderately sweet with a delicate roast coming out as it warmed. Slight milk to dark chocolate aftertaste.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a fair sipping to sessionable sort of smooth finish. Carbonation and ABV felt fine. There's a dry roasty composure seemingly bristling my tongue a bit more than expected.
Overall, decent oatmeal stout I would prefer to have again in the Autumn or maybe winter. Personally, not really into this this time of year.

Served on tap in the tap room.
Pours a nice dark brown with some light coming in on the edges. Low levels of head.
Aromas are a good deal of roasted malt, chocolate and decent smoke.
Flavors are really well balanced levels of smoke and deep roasted malt.
Mouthfeel was good but a touch thin for me.
Overall, great use of smoke...just want it a bit thicker.
