A: Pours a purplish pink color with 2 fingers of head that fades down to a thin cap
S: Cherry and vanilla up front along with some lactose
T: Follows the nose. Starts off with the cherry and vanilla and then picks up some lactose and the almonds. Moderately tart. Finishes with lingering cherry and almond
M: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation
O: A solid milkshake IPA that is very cherry-vanilla and almond focused. Fairly easy to drink. Worth a shot

Sampling at the brewery.
Color a milky maroon.
Virtually no head.
Yes. You cAn smell the cherries.
And it does taste like cherry pie.
But is this what you want for a beer?

Two cans, second one, I ended up pouring into a tulip to respect the milkshake IPA style.
The appearance was a thick hazy pale orange woody color with a stifled little white foamy to bubbly head. This quickly slid off to barely leave any lace.
The aroma had a nice blend of sweet to bitter orange pulp, chunky pineapple and lactose/creamy sweetness rolling about.
The flavor seemed to copy the aroma fairly nice. Sweet with a touch of semi-sticky bitter grip of the cream. Aftertaste was pineapple, cream and orange.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a fair sipping to sessionable sort of in between quality about it. It was nice enough to take some big sips yet not have anything distractible to the grip on the tongue. Carbonation felt nice and low as expected. ABV felt fine. Finish was smooth and semi-juicy.
Overall, as a milkshake IPA this works and probably one of the better ones of the milkshake IPA style by Burlington. Only qualms was - where was the cherries? Like I said, I had two cans but it wasn't noticed in either can.

Poured from the can into a snifter.
Pours hazy medium straw/pink color. One finger of head.
Aromas are lots of milk sugar and some fruit.
Flavors are more milk sugar up front and not as much fruit. Hops in background.
Mouthfeel was good.
Overall...the milk sugar is a tough one as the fruit gets left behind IMO. Wanted more cherries and pineapple.

Moderate to vigorous pour yields a 3/4 inch off white head over a peach colored body with no lacing. Head dissipates down to a thin ring in minutes. Very nice nose of pineapple and slight cherry. Taste is bitter and flavors are muted somewhat by the bitterness and don't follow aromas the way I would like. Feel is good for a fruited beer and overall, yet another swing and a miss for me and don't need to have again, or even finish this. Cheers?
