Can to tulip.
Dated 08/10/2018.
This is rated as a Farmhouse Sour IPA.
The appearance was a thick ruby red grapefruit color with no head no matter how many times I poured. No lace either.
The aroma had an obtuse amount of white grapey vinous sour-ness. Some danky to earthy vinous character as well rolling into an eye opening over ripe/rotten plum then berry-like subtle sweetness.
The flavor was moderately sour with a "hairy" sort of edgy sour with a sticky over ripe fruity clinginess. Aftertaste is dry and loose with the vinous allowing the danky white grapey-ness to overtake everything.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a total sipping quality. There's nothing remotely sessionable about this. It's too dry and has a slightly higher carbonation than the normal Farmhouse Sour IPA. Finish is vinous and danky white grape-like.
Overall, as a Farmhouse Sour IPA, this falls short. Might have a cool color but this misses the mark in a lot of aspects.

Poured from the can into a snifter.
Pours a very hazy medium to light purple/lavender with low head.
Aromas a nice mix of mellow hops, sour apple and some low yeast.
Flavors are nice and balanced. In line with aromas, mellow sour apple in finish.
Mouthfeel was really nice.
Overall, nice colab with Stowe Cider. The ABV is 4.5%
