Poured it out into a becher pint glass.
The appearance was a dark brown close to black color with a tan two finger foamy head that slid off fairly quick. Some lace slid with the sips.
The aroma crafted a sweet coffee to a moderate roastiness pulling in some dark chocolate nibs with some clean earthiness. Light sweet ash/char on the back end.
The flavor yields slightly towards the sweet coffee. It's not so much espresso-like but slightly comes close to. Slight semi-sticky sweet dark chocolate bitterness in the aftertaste.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a fair sipping quality about it. Clean bitterness rides along my tongue with a sly grip. Carbonation and ABV are appropriate. I don't mind some of the stickiness clinging to my tongue, I find it not cloying.
Overall, pretty banging coffee porter well worthy of coming back to.

16 oz. can.
Moderate to vigorous pour yields a one inch tan head over a dark brown body with no lacing. Nose of very nice coffee, dark roasted malt, and a bit of chocolate. Taste mirrors nose with added flavors of fudge, caramel, and espresso. Rather dry finish of bitter coffee. Good feel and overall, a more than decent coffee porter from BBCo. Cheers!
