Cloudy, white to gold color. Moderate head which recedes to rim bubbles. A few small spots for lace.

Tropical fruit and prickly grapefruit rind smell.

Short lived pale malt base. The hop is biting, enhanced by the higher carbonation level. The body is neutral at the most. Long aftertaste from the expectedly bitter finish.

Poured into a tulip.
The appearance was a fairly thick opaque yellow-ed woody color rimmed by a small dieing cap of a little white semi-foamy head. Just a wisp of concave lace that slid with the sips.
The aroma had a dried floral sweetness up front with some honey tones coming out with some warmth. Some grassy hops as well.
The flavor performs a huge dry floral hop behavior playing with some grassiness. Aftertaste was extremely floral and dry.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a fair sipping quality about it. It's so dry that I found myself drinking a huge glass of water next to it. Carbonation felt good. ABV seemed on par.
Overall, trying to figure out what Burlington was really going for with this one....hmmmmm...kinda leaves me scratching my beard. Yeah, I dunno, I can't really see myself reaching for this all of the time. What I thought was going to be a scaled down version of Beekeeper definitely is not.

Like the Bee Keeper, but lighter ABV and a little less velvety feel.

Vigorous pour yields a 1/4 inch white head over a murky golden body with some lacing. As Gandalf said at the Bridge at Khazad-Dum: "You shall not pass!" He was talking about light passing through this beer, of course. Very nice nose of tropical fruit. Taste is too much off the path that the aromas set and is all bitter citrus pith and dry pine resin. Palate wrecking finish, but a good feel and overall, "Fly you fools!"
