16 oz. can.
Canned 06 20 19.
Moderate to vigorous pour yields a 1/2 inch off white head over a murky body with some fleeting lacing. Nose of citrus (orange, mostly) and slight diacetyl. Taste of orange and slight tropical fruit. Almost good feel but I think an IPA should have IPA carbonation. Period. Finishes strange with a slightly off-putting bitterness. Overall, yet another BBCo. offering I cannot finish.
Cheers?

Poured into a tulip, the appearance was a pure milky yellow color with a quick top of bubbly to foamy head. Once it left, there was just a little bit of concave lace.
The aroma had some sweet oats, substantial amount of cream, sweet grassy to floral hops, corn and some zesty orange peel.
The flavor definitely brought that zesty orange peel forward and embracing a certain zippy cling through those hops. Aftertaste was all about those zesty orange peel-like tones.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a fair sipping quality about it. Nice low carbonation as expected. Some hop burn (but not burdensome). Mellow finish of zesty orange peel, somewhat snappy with grassy hop character and corn.
Overall, what an odd beer. I believe I liked it for the most part but where did that 'corn'-like character come from? Was that intentional and the brewers didn't want to tell us? Insert emoji of confused look right here.

Drinking out of a sampler glass at the brewery.
Typical cloudy straw color.
Slight lacy head.
Grapefruit sort of smell.
Probably a typical milkshake IPA, but the grapefruit taste overwhelms. Little hop or malt taste at all. Hardly seems like an IPA.

I was told by the top brass that my new favorite, Cashmere hops were used in this collab IPA, but it's very heavy on the Citra hops, which I've had plenty of. This one just fell short for me: nothing stood out about it.

Pours a hazy whitish gold hue with a thin head into my glass. Creamy citrus notes in nose. It's a little sweeter than expected with a slick, milky touch in the taste. Am I wrong for imagining creamed corn? Otherwise, it's a pretty standard take on what might be a milkshake IPA?
