Drinks more like a Pale Ale than an IPA. Plenty of juicy hop bitterness, but the body is very light.

Not only is it a beer for a good cause, it's also an IPA of good balance that harks back to a time when even hazy ale had bitterness. Proper in both charity and taprooms, Burlington Beer can do it all.
Burnish gold and floating an ivory blanket of froth, Vaulted Blue revs up the senses with a citrusy, tropical and stone fruit presence with a backdrop of floral and pastry tones. As its sweetness graces the tongue, a full and creamy suggestion of cereal, pastry and agave give malty introductions.
Yet as the plump ale crosses mid-palate, the grain sweetness gives way to the hops. Vibrant flavors of pink grapefruit and orange are followed by mango, pineapple and passionfruit for both a citrusy and tropical fruit cocktail. Even as suggestions of nectarine come to mind, the taste has already started to develop a smooth and spicy bitterness of verbena, tea leaf, spruce tip and peppery resins.
Plump, refreshing and balanced, Burlington isn't just helping wilderness protection but palate protection as well.

Poured from a 12 oz. can. Has a hazy golden color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of citrus, tropical fruits. Taste is pineapple, oranges, light mango. Feels medium/full bodied in the mouth and overall is an enjoyable beer.

Hazy golden orange. Absolutely no head. Peach on the nose and front of the palate. Pine notes coming through on the finish. This is nice.

Hazy, straw-colored pour with a bubbly white head that's happy to lace your glass. The nose is sweet, peachy and a bit floral. The taste is what elevates this brew. The hop mix is a nice blend of New England (Citra/Mosaic/Simcoe) hops with West Coast (Pacifica/Cascade). So both coasts are represented in the flavor profile. There's the flavors generally associated with NEIPA's like oranges, peach and melon, but also pine and a nice long dry finish reminiscent of the West Coasters. All in all, a nicely balanced, smooth tasting brew that's worth a session or three.

A: Poured from the can into a Tree House tulip. Body is hazy golden with a half-finger of pretty-bright white head.
S: Hoppy - but the sweeter side of hops - tropical fruity (pineapple, melon), a touch of blueberries and some citrus (oranges, mainly). Nose doesn't jump out of the glass, but it's pleasant.
T: Follows the nose, with a juicy, hoppy approach. I'm getting a crackery malt foundation, then a tropical fruit salad of melon, mango & ripe pineapple, plus a hint of blueberries and some ripe stone fruit (think plums). Tasty.
M: Drinks "light" if that makes sense - carbonation is a bit light, makes it a little slick in feel as it washes over the palate. Call it medium in heft.
O: Solid. An easy drinker at a modest 5.7% ABV. A friend brought it to the Lake this weekend, I pilfered a can to bring home and review. I'd buy this myself.

Burlington Beer Company IPA - New England / Hazy
Creamy hops, earthy bite, dry leafy excursion, mango with dried coastal grasses, sour and pungent feel, and vibe. Light and clean. Tangy grass finish. Very mild and light for taking out on the road.

Hazy gold body under an average size white head that produced good lacing. Too much sediment had settled in the bottom although there was no date code on the can. Solid dose of citrus and tropical fruit in the aroma. Similar flavor profile. Modest, but not cloying, sweetness. Grapefruit in the aftertaste. Finish fades a bit too quickly. Decently carbonated, medium bodied mouthfeel.

Can purchased at Caramel Bakery and Bar in Rochester, NY.
This one pours a fairly hazy golden yellow color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This one smells like clean and refreshing pine, orange, melon, and lemon.
I don’t always love Burlington Beer Co, but this one was pretty solid. It had a nice clean piney bitterness, refreshing and herbal, with a nice citrusy, orange, and lemon hop character. There’s no malt character.
This is light bodied, clean, and refreshing, with a great drinkability.
This is what I wish more BBCo beers tasted like.
