Can to tulip.
04.16.20
The appearance was a nice looking semi-murky orange yet having a subtle bright glow to it when held up to the light. Small filmy glaze of lace trickled around the glass in a messy fashion.
The aroma had a wonderful blend of sweet orange pulp, subtle bitter citrus rinds then some pine.
The flavor leaned towards the bitter side initially but brought some citrus and piney sweetness as it opened up. Subtle aftertaste of citrus rind and sweet pith.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a mostly sipping quality about it. Decent carbonation with a slight stickiness to it. Finishes semi-sticky with some dry citrusy hop effects.
Overall, pretty good DIPA I'd come back to.

A: Pours a hazy pale yellow color with 2 fingers of head that fades down to a thin cap
S: Some citrus up front along with very light tropical fruit and resin/herbal notes
T: Follows the nose. Starts off with some citrus and light tropical fruit. Goes into a balancing malt and light bitterness along with the resinous notes. Finishes with lingering citrus
M: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation
O: A good mix of citrus and resin going on. Easy to drink. Makes for a solid “mid-coast” DIPA
