Can to tulip.
The appearance was a dark pink/magenta/ruddy plum red color with a small film of white foamy head softly dissipating. Just a slim whimsical lace along the sides.
The aroma had some strawberries, red raspberries, red cherries, and a vanilla/milk sugary creaminess settling in underneath for a fine blend.
The flavor leaned towards the sweet side initially then opened up with a little bit of tart to sour fruity berry conglomeration. Mellow berry aftertaste with a tickle of creaminess.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied, perhaps just a touch under with a decent carbonation. Some smoothness. Finishes with a clean smooth fruity tart to semi-sour tone.
Overall, nicely done fruited sour ale but not a gose as the brewer would like to say.
