Super Lemon Haze

I've had two Burlington beers tonight (Little Wizard being the other) and I'm again wondering if folks are being a little tough on the ratings. Disclaimer: I'm a big Citra fan. Another enjoyable offering here - flavorful and moderately aromatic. Not quite as much la fine mousse, but flavor and aroma make up for it.

 

 

Poured from a 16 oz can into a pint glass; born on 1/11/23. Pours hazy opaque yellow with two fingers of plush foamy head. Tastes of lemon with very subtle lemon grass and mango citrus. While a bit too much lemon - for my taste - very well done.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I've smoked the strain that shares a name with this. Pours a hazy, whitish blonde hue with a frothy head. I can pick out mango and passionfruit in the nose. There is a touch of lemon after all but it's obscured by a strong, doughy citrus aura. This is also very tart like a lemon. Finishes with a little heat (8% after all!) but works as a palate cleanser of sorts. Maybe my expectations were too high being that my job involves stripping terpenes from biomass. Check it out.
