16 oz can, courtesy of the VT cousinary contingent, no date, poured into a tulip glass. It’s a murky amber/brown with no head or lace at all. The aroma is milk chocolate, bourbon, and sugar. Very much like a mocaccino. Coffee and vanilla notes override the bourbon barrel to an extent. Mouthfeel is heavy, somewhat sticky, very little carbonation. A straight out dessert drink. Could have used some Moyer’s chips to accompany.

Sharing a couple of 16oz cans with Alewife and daughter Caitlin out in The 'Zebo on a glorious October Saturday...
Caitlin picked these up during a recent VT vacation and a visit to the brewery.
Pours a dark brown, looking "thinner" than a stout should. Has some sparse, fine carbo, but barely any head or lacing. Nose has loads of coffee, like fresh grinds from the pot, along with some semisweet choco and vanilla. Body is a lovely medium-plus, bordering on being chewy. And it is very smooth on the tongue.
Taste is also coffee-heavy, though less so than the aroma. Has more choco and vanilla, plus some mocha and a touch of tasty bourbon action. Has a bit of earthiness in the rich, flavorful finish. Solid!! Cheers!!
