Skyhook is a Triple IPA and a scaled-up version of our Double IPA Orbital Elevator. Brewed with Mosaic, Simcoe, and Amarillo provides flavors and aroma of pineapple sorbet, papaya, dank cannabis and candied orange peel. Brewed with Barley, Oat Malt, and Flaked Oats. With almost 30% of the grist bill comprised of Oats allowing the malt character to gently hold up the bold hops.

I guess it's ok for the style, but not my bag.
Smells like orange marmalade, taste is similar, but more dank.
I only bought it because it was on sale and high alcohol %.
My opinion on this beer doesn't count.

Picked this beast of a beer up recently at Fanwood Liquors as I was able to get a single can of this there. The booze wasn't *too* overt as the flavors were strong enough to drown much of it out, but this was indeed a full and thick beer that was juicy enough to balance that out and make this quite enjoyable!
The pour to this was a turbid apricot with a ton of full, bubbly head topping it off. Not a lot of lacing as I worked my way through this as only scattered sections of fine spots remained. A ton of guava, papaya, weed, dank fruit, and heavy-handed hops were in the nose as the taste closely followed suit except for the melon and cantaloupe that came into play. Full on the palate but juicy in consistency, there was enough booze and solvent here to remind me that this was a New England IPA that could have easily been mistaken for an Imperial. A bit of apricot emerged as this warmed up with the oats staying around in the aftertaste both in body and in stickiness.
The carbonation was sufficient, but could have been a bit higher, as this easily warmed up and never backed down. Dated 3/31 on the side of the can, this was a fun beer with a lot going for it, but only worth having one at a time! Loved the label and finishing off with this at the end of a session!

On tap at the brewery. White head. Hazy sunset orange.
Pineapple, orange, dole juice, but a bit of abv showing. Floral bitterness. Mango. Melon, honeydew. Very tropical. Very flavorful. Sweet. Touch of hop burn in the finish.

Poured into a 16 oz Nordic pint glass canned on 3/31/22. Pours a hazy dark yellow with a tinny head that leaves some thin streaks of lace. 4
Aroma guava, mandarin, apricot, cantaloupe, and a little grapefruit rind. 4
Taste follows mandarin, guava, apricot, cantaloupe, and little grapefruit hop burn in the fish ish. 4
Mouthfeel is pretty big, soft slightly grainy carbonation, maybe a tad sticky, and at 10% drink pretty big but I am having no issues taking care of this one. 4
Overall I like it for sure, but just a little unrefined for this brewery. I say worth a shot for sure 4
