So damn good. A very subtle, graceful, elegant, but satisfying and big double. Skillful nectaron showcase.
Delicious. Oaty and wheaty for sure. Lush and pillowlly, but dances on the back half into a dry and very crisp finish.
boisenberry pie, some really nice guava tangerine lemon stuff. Dank floral resinous pine, touch of rose. Some of the smoothest pine notes, not harsh or hot.
Glorious!

Pours a hazy dark orange with a 1F head and moderate lacing.
Smells of grassy, floral hops with citrus and sweet fruit.
Tastes of orange, pineapple and mango with a slightly bitter finish.
Medium body with light carbonation. Lightly lush, oaty smooth mouthfeel.
This is a very tasty, mild mannered NEIPA.
BBC is yet to dissapoint!

From a 16oz can dated 02/01/23. From the BBC website: “ Totemic Might is brewed with Nectaron hops grown exclusively in New Zealand. This one of a kind hop variety showcases all the aromas and flavors you seek in a New England-style Double IPA. Bursting with ripe pineapple, passionfruit, peach gummies, and grapefruit zest. Balanced with oat malt, flaked oats, and raw wheat for a medium-bodied Double IPA that you can get lost in.” Low-key, but very nice.

Had Totemic Might poured from pint can, label stamped (apparently) canned on "021221," gift shipped down by friend, into nonic pint.
Pours hazy gold with 2-finger creamy off-white head, with excellent retention, leaving braided rings of lace down the glass. Aroma of tropical fruit and resin off the pour, with the fruit becoming peachy as warms. Begins with carbonation bite and sharp peach, then tropical fruits, including pineapple, leading into a drying, crisp and peachy but not bitter finish.
Ultimately, a well-made peachy Double NEIPA.

A: Pours a hazy pale yellow color with 2 fingers of head that fades down to a thin cap
S: Citrus and tropical fruit up front along with a lighter herbal undertone
T: Follows the nose. Starts off with a mix of citrus and tropical fruit. Some herbal bitterness present as well. Picks up some citrus peel towards the finish
M: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation
O: A solid DIPA that highlights the Nectaron hops nicely. Fairly in-line with most NZ hops, this one is mostly tropical fruit and citrus. Easy to drink. Worth checking out
