Pretty good beer. However, way over carbonated. Each beer of a four pack, no matter how delicately handled, overflowed the can as soon as its cracked. Learned the hard way with the first one as its spilled all over my new rug.

All sixteen ounces once in the can got emptied into a clear glass liter mug. There's plenty of carbonation, but only a little off-white head was produced. The color of the liquid is apricot-amber and it's opaque. A sharp piney hop aroma emanates, so sharp it's almost minty. But, there's no starchy character for the nose, at all. Not surprisingly, the taste is sharply hoppy, with a solid note of pine and maybe a little spearmint. There's very little malt, nor other counterbalance, although there is a little sweetness. It's sharply bitter, but not too much so. The finish dries out and is clean. Although light across the palate, it's not too thin. Putting this in the West Coast IPA category is probably accurate. Not much is offered in glass lacing, nor sustaining head. It may only be a one note beer, but at least it's a pleasant one.

Glacier Palace
Burlington Beer Company IPA - Cold
Definitely refreshing with a crisp bite. The hops are subtle but have excellent charecter. The flaked corn and very light grainy malt us the most perfect balance to these hops. There is a big X factor here with its unique glacial vibe. Minty and earthy.
