Poured into a wide mouth, grip shaped goblet: color is gold, slight chill haze, off white head presents just less than one finger thick after a heavy second pour.
Smell is toasted malt, bread and light biscuit, light herbal, grass hops, a little light on hop aroma but pleasant malt.
Taste is toasted/bready malt, some biscuit notes, light grass and herbal hops, maybe some grape nuts. Hopping is a bit light but still flavorful.
Mouthfeel is low carbonation, moderate sweetness, low/moderate bitterness.
Overall a solid maibock - want a bit more hopping aroma/flavor but pleasant maltiness.

Sampling a cellar temp 16 oz can poured into my .5L dimple mug. Date stamp on label is 51623. Im guessing this is brewed on date. I picked up this beer at a shop in New Hampshire and its been in my cellar since then.
The beer pours a light copper to golden color. Slightly amber, its actually a sort of in between amber and gold, sort of tough to nail down. A fizzy bleached white head foams up about 1.5 cm and fades to a sturdy surface covering. Some pretty tight lattice forms when I take a sip or swirl the beer.
Aroma on this beer is very crackery and biscuity with hints of toffee. Not really sweet nose and no hint of booze either. I dont get a lot of hop profile.
First sip reveals a lighter body than expected and very fine slightly tingly carbonation. Texture is very smooth and easy to drink.
Flavor is biscuity and crackers with a little toffee mixed in, very similar to the nose. Maybe a bit of a toasted bread note too. No hint of ABV on this beer and hops dont show through on the flavor either.
Its a little more mild flavor profile than I expected, but it certainly isnt bad. I enjoy the beer as I drink it, and find it to be pretty clean all around. But it is also not particularly remarkable anywhere.

Dark gold, dehydrated urine color, basically light amber. Soapy head with very poor retention. Not sure why. Looks like iced tea.
Buttered biscuit, honeycomb, spice, orange zest, cracker, hay. A bit sweet but finishes clean.
My first ever Maibock.
