Bottle: Poured a cloudy deep amber color ale with a large off-white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of caramel malt with peppery yeast notes is nice. Taste is a mix of caramel malt notes with some peppery yeast notes and some residuals sugar notes. Body is full with aggressive carbonation. A bit sweeter then I was expecting but enjoyable nonetheless.

Poured from a 500ml bottle.
Decent head, could have a bit more retention for the style. Troubled dark amber body. Strong buckwheat aroma which follows into the flavor and has touches of honey. Chewy a bit. I would venture it's more a Bière de Garde than a typical saison but overall a nice first offering in bottles from this relatively new brewer.
